October 2019: "From Brittany to Corsica, via Provence"!

In this October box, we opted for particularly fine products. Lobster, Provencal shuttles with orange blossom, or pepper cream with Brocciu AOP from Corsica … prepare your taste buds and take the time to taste all the flavors these products offer.

Salidou, salted butter caramel cream – The House of Armorine

Salidou is a cream of salted butter caramel prepared by the confectionery “La Maison d’Armorine” in Quiberon.

Tasting: like a spread, salidou spreads on your pancakes, waffles and tartines for snacks and desserts. It is also possible to heat it in a bain marie and to use it as a coulis on your ice creams and desserts. A marvel of sweet-salty balance.

Provencal shuttles with orange blossom – José Orsoni

Delicious Provencal cookies subtly flavored with orange blossom that will make you crack more than one.

The Provencal shuttle does not contain egg but yeast, unlike the Marseillaise shuttle. This gives us a different, more crunchy texture. Just as good, Provencal is also smaller in size.

Terrine of duck with prunes and Armagnac – Maison Sauveterre

Maison Sauveterre offers you a terrine recipe terribly greedy, and directly inspired by what the Southwest produces best. This novelty dares the sweet and salty mix. Thus, the most famous poultry of the South-West combines with the sweetness of the prune and the finesse of Armagnac for a most gourmet association.

AOP – A Paesana pepper sauce

A unique product that revisits the flavors of Corsica.

Here is an original and very greedy way to apprehend this famous Corsican cheese that is the Brocciu AOP (Protected Designation of Origin). Combined with the red pepper, the result is a cream of character, strong in taste and very colorful. Virgin olive oil, lemon and arômates complete this subtle agreement to create a balanced and representative product of the heat of southern France.

Ready-to-Warm Lobster Soufflé – La pointe de Penmarc’h

A delicious hot dish to serve as an appetizer with a side salad.

Very easy to prepare: open the glass and bake at 220° for 10 to 15 minutes. You can also use the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes. Serve directly in the glass.
